I just finished watching The Notebook a few minutes ago and although I did not cry, it doesn’t mean it failed as a romantic movie for me. In fact, I loved the movie. I don’t know if it is because I also watched Breaking Dawn P1 earlier today so any movie I watch will more likely be a good movie but seriously though, it was one those stories that will leave you dreaming and hoping that your own love story is even a bit as good as it is. But if there are a few things I learned from this movie, they are first, Love screws up. Second, we were stupid to let her leave the first time. Third, true love always gets a second chance. Fourth, we will be dumb as fuck if we let the second chance slide. And lastly in relation to the fourth one,you’ll know if it’s it if despite knowing it’s gonna be hard, tough, challenging, maybe wrong at some point, objected by some, an all-hell-broke-loose kind of love, despite knowing these, you won’t let it come to a point where your best wish is for a third shot at it.
